Saint Clare Sacred Art Museum

The Saint Clare Sacred Art Museum covers three small Baroque rooms of the convent, build in the 18th century with an interior structure from the 13th century. The convent belongs to the order of Clare sisters. Some time ago, it seems the convents hosted great artistic works - some of them are still shown in the museum.

Sacred Art of Santa María do Campo Museum

The museum is located in a small new building, designed by Gallego Jorreto, integrated in the surrounding of the medieval Collegiate Church of Saint Mary. The monographic museum houses a diverse collection of diverse objects aimed at the liturgical cult of the Collegiate Church. It is indeed a selection of silversmithing from different schools, periods and countries from the 16th to the 20th century

Nosa Señora da Antiga Museum

The School of Nosa Señora da Antiga is also known as the School of the Cardinal (after its constructor) or School of the Society (after its managers). People also call it the "Galician Escorial", due to the size of the building. The school was built between late 16th century and early 17th century, under the patronage of the cardinal Rodrigo de Castro and was managed by the Society of Jesus. The goal was to cover the educational need of the region and all Galicia. Since 1873, the school was managed by the Piarists.

Diocesan and Cathedral Museum of Lugo

Created in 1918, the Diocesan and Cathedral Museum of Lugo, or MDCL, one of the oldest museums in Galicia, has been in existence for over a century. Since 1995, its home has been the Cathedral itself, providing visitors with the opportunity to learn about, explore and deepen their understanding of its structure, as it is housed in unique spaces: the Cloister, the Chapter Room, the Antechamber of the Archive and the Cathedral triforium.

Museum of Galician Contemporary Art 'Carlos Maside'

The Museum of Galician Contemporary Art 'Carlos Maside was created in 1970 as a response to the need for the collecting the work and documents from the 30s generation artists. Later on, their goals were beyond that and tried to be a witness of Galician contemporary art. The museum is located in an architectural complex, which also holds the Cerámicas O Castro factory, devoted to ceramics showing. The complex also houses a library and a hall for temporary exhibitions. The museum is situated in the most characteristic building, with hexagonal modules distributed around a central module.

Granell Museum

The Eugenio Granell Foundation museum is located in the Pazo de Bendaña, one of the most emblematic buildings of Santiago - and an example of civil architecture from the mid-18th century. The building designed by Vivente Sarela is located in Praza do Toural and represent the Baroque architecture of Santiago. The façade displays the coat of arms of Bendaña marquisate. The figure of Atlas holding the canopy of heaven crowns the building.

Historical Museum of Sargadelos

In 1972, the Reais Fábricas de Sargadelos were declared Historic and Artistic Site. The factories were established in 18th century, by Antonio Raimúndez Ibáñez, Marquis of Sargadelos. The Reais Fábricas de Sargadelos are considered the first integrated steel working company in Spain. Weapons and ammunitions for the Spanish Army were actually manufactured in the factory. During 19th century, this activity coexisted with an innovative factory of crockery which introduced in Spain patterns and decorations with strong English connections at that time.

Liste Museum of Vigo

The Liste Museum of Vigo was born through the Liste-Etnographic Museum of Vigo Foundation, which collects the legacy of Olimpio Liste Regueiro in the field of ethnography. The main goal is to offer a globalized vision of Galicia's etnographic patrimony.

The museum offers nine halls for permanent exhibition, distributed in three floors - covering the following aspects: 

Rye culture, which shows by means of a chronological tour the importance of the cereal in Galicia's agriculture.
