Three-wheel scooter

Three-wheel scooter

Elongated platform on three wheels, two of which are in parallel at the back. The other wheel is at the front at the bottom of a steering column. The scooter has wooden handlebars which are screwed to the top of the steering column. The wheel rims are reinforced with strips of rubber.

These kinds of toys were typically built by a local craftsman or a family member. Children would freewheel them downhill or propel them along with one foot while keeping the other on the platform.
